Happy Holidays!

Merry Christmas, Everyone!

I hope you all had a wonderful and safe holiday.

Our Christmas was very good. My Dad came to spend the holiday with us on Christmas Eve. Dan and my sister in law met and they exchanged Dad!

Dan made a big Christmas Eve dinner that consisted of ham, Mac ‘n cheese, mashed potatoes and cauliflower with cheese sauce.

We had Danny, his girlfriend, Dad, me, Dan and our good friends Pam and John for dinner. After dinner everyone opened gifts.

Dad was waiting patiently to open his gifts!

He had seen a vase in an antique store that he really liked and he wanted colorful fake flowers for his room at his assistant living. My Mom always had fresh flowers in the house and I think it reminds him of her.

Pam loves owls so I couldn’t resist buying her an owl mug I found in Pier1.

As you can see Danny was pretty psyched to get a 39 inch TV for his room.

Alicia trying on the CB Sport jacket we bought her.

Even Molly wanted in on the action although she was terrified of the towel mitts I bought her!

Christmas day Danny had to work from 10-5 so me, Dan and Danny headed down to my Aunt’s house for dinner. It was nice because my 2 cousins were there with their wives (and a new baby) and we don’t get to see them very often.

We had dinner, opened a few gifts and we were off back home to open the rest of our gifts and stockings!

It was a very nice holiday, but I was tired on Christmas night.

I think all the carbs and alcohol I have been consuming is making me feel wonky. I have to start eating more protein, less carbs and alcohol and exercising again.

Man, I can feel it.

I hope you all had a great holiday season.

Don’t forget you can still win a $25.00 gift card to Frank and Oak tomorrow. Just leave a comment on my Blog and I’ll pick a random winner on Friday.
