From disappointment to excitement

Hello!

 WB

So, I was supposed to be going to the White Mountains this weekend on a girl’s weekend away but my friend got sick!

Whomp, whomp

Hey, it happens this time of the year, what can you do?

It was gonna be so fun going to the Ice castle, snowshoeing at Waterville Valley and maybe another dog sled ride…  But it wasn’t meant to be.  As disappointing as it is I do believe things happen for a reason even though you may never find out what the reason is.

 HandO

Instead, I got us tickets to Hall & Oats at the Hampton Beach Casino in March!

Whoo Hoo! I love  H & O and have been wanting to go to Daryl’s Club in NY for some time. However, I don’t know any of the artists playing so I was hesitant to go.

 Live

Anyway, I grew up with Hall & Oats so this show will be a fun walk down my Middle/High school days!

It’s a Sunday night so Sue and I will make it another girl’s weekend away and find a place to stay overnight.

What can we do up at Hampton Beach in the Winter?

Wentworth by the sea has a spa that offers many different type of treatments: Maybe I’ll get a nice facial or massage:  http://www.wentworth.com/new-castle-spa/

Antiquing: The Seacoast has a ton of different antique stores up here. Matter of fact, there is one I love in Stratham, NH that I may have to check out.

Portsmouth: Portsmouth NH is a great walking city. Dan and I love it up here and it isn’t far from Hampton at all. Sue and I could take a drive out and peruse the stores or go to Strawberry Banke Museum.

Jewell Towne Vineyards: take  a tour of the winery and have a tasting

So, I went from being bummed to being psyched about another concert.

Now what to wear?
